Taper Bolt

Taper bolts are an assembly of a taper-headed metal cone, washer, lead sleeve, and nut. When it is installed, the taper-head metal cone expands the lead sleeve to fill all the pores and crevices of the material in which it is set. Taper bolts work when you insert them into a predrilled hole in the base material and then turn the nut to pull the working end of the sleeve up through the sleeve. The anchor is then expanded and anchored securely in the concrete, brick, or block.
